Biography
Dance music has never been more global. Just look at Jacob Bailey, part of the fresh-faced new wave of talent taking over Dubai in the Middle East.
He was a mainstay at the infamous Asylum Afterhours in Honolulu, voted as one of the Top 50 clubs in the world by dance music authority DJ Magazine, and was a key part of the nascent underground dance music scene in Hawaii. Alongside that, he’s also held down residencies at cultural hotspots in Tokyo including Numb and Coco Loco, and now arguably holds down the best residency in his new home town, Dubai.
As one of Third Eye Crew’s trusted DJs, he’s seen the brand grow from a friends-only rooftop gathering into a packed-out, award winning weekly rooftop party that’s become the talk of the city. And his selection of deep house and techno has played their part, as he’s turned his hand to warm ups for the likes of M.A.N.D.Y, Audiofly and Blond:Ish, as well as rocking closing sets for Night Vibes. And with further gigs under his belt in Sydney, Singapore, Seoul, Dublin, Bali and Barcelona as well, Jacob Bailey is dancefloor proof that good music is global.
